Origin of Emceeing.

 Many people may argue that emcee is a profession that just took over the industry not long ago but the big question is, is that so?

The term Master of Ceremonies which simply means MC was used at least since the 1600s, originally referring to an official who presided over a royal ceremony. The first record of emcee came from the 1930s, from the U.S. 

 In the 1970s, American rappers aslo develop the love un using the tag MC attached to their names. And it was associated with hip hop culture, rap music in particular, as a vocalist who rhymes over sampling, scratching amd mixing supplied by the DJ.

But with much said, in recent times things have changed and the field of MCs have also changed.

We now have Emcees for people who specifically MC Entertainment programs and shows, as in Pubs, Birthday parties, Drink Ups, Concert and so much more. We also do have MCs that host Cooperate events, and MCs who generally take on the tasks in all fields.
