TEARS OF CAROL( FINAL PRODUCTION)

Human trafficking into sex exploitation have been in existence for ages now and it is still on the rise. Most of these young girls who fall victims are minors.

16 year old Carol Sampson is a young Nigeria girl who fell victim to these act. She tells us how it all started.
"I completed Senior high and had no source of income to finance my education. My family was also in hard times so i had to hawk on the streets of Nigeria by selling water in traffic. I was doing this for about 5 months after i completed school.
One day i met a lady who was driving a car in traffic and she called me. I went and she asked me what was my name I told her and she said I am really beautiful and hard working and i don't deserve to be selling water in traffic and so has business that she can employ me so i can gather money and life a stress free life. She took my number and said she was going to call me.
The next day she called and spoke to me and wanted to meet my family which she did. She said her businesses are in Ghana and i can be a boutique attendant in one of her shops.  My family believed her and we planned on the day we will be travelling to Ghana.
Upon arriving in Ghana she reneged on her promises of making me boutique attendant.  She told I was here for hook up and i have no option.

I was forced into prostitution and treated like a slave. I was into this act for about six months and one day i made up my mind to escape because that was not my intentions in life. I have no one to go to or talk to. I am scared to go to Police to report this case because my madam have connections with high ranking people in the service A Ghanaian prostitutes calling a potential client to patronize her service.

Three years ago the International Organisation of Migration (IOM) launched a program to combat these act.

Those where the words of Carol who is strended in Ghana and hopes to find a good Samaritan assist her, and help her get back to Nigeria and achieve her dreams of attending University's.
